With the release of their cozy slip-on sneaker, the Wool Lounger, Allbirds asked Reference to explore wool growth simulations that would be used to complement their conceptual photoshoot. However, the studio’s exploration led to a full recreation of the shoe and set design as it was more efficient and truer to the Allbirds’ vision.
